It's Breast Cancer - Three little words that change your life

I started writing about my own breast cancer journey after a friend remarked on how much knowledge I had on the subject and encouraged me to share it. This knowledge, coupled with the fact that according to her, I didn't even seem like I was going through chemotherapy, was something she said would help others if they were to ever find themselves in my situation.

There are lots of books out there already, written by people who have gone through breast cancer. So what makes my book any different? Well, it isn't just a memoir of what happened and how I felt about it all.

Early on, I was reminded by a work colleague about another book that talks about cancer cells and the metabolic ways in which they feed themselves. After devouring this book, my mind was blown. There are so many things that you can do in addition to your standard hospital treatment, to help not only minimise side effects, but to increase your prognosis. Things that aren't widely discussed, but that have been shown to work and are included in many medical papers written on the subject.

In my book, I have integrated all that I discovered, in easy to read and understand, bite size chunks, and mixed it with my story from diagnosis, through treatment and beyond. You will learn what to expect from chemotherapy, surgery and radiotherapy and all of the supplements I took (and still do) and the changes I made in my life in order to give me the best chance possible of getting and remaining cancer-free.

My Breast Cancer Journey - A journal to help you through your treatment

A beautiful and thoughtfully created journal for those going through a breast cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Separated into helpful sections to make notes of important dates, contact details and side effects from treatment. It has over 120 lined pages to reflect following chemotherapy, surgery and radiotherapy. This journal has been created for breast cancer patients, by a breast cancer survivor who understands the complexities of emotions after a diagnosis and a need to try and make sense of them.

It is the perfect gift for either yourself or a loved one who might be going through breast cancer.
